BRR - you may be confused with Provenge (which actually has better median survival benefits than their trial results say)

CVac hasn't released any statistically significant results
(statistically significant doesn't mean important or large difference in statistics, just means that any measured difference is from a population large enough to confidently say the difference isn't down to chance.)

As yet, the only results we have are from a statistically insignificant number of phase 1 patients who we're extremely advanced and current treatments had failed.
They effectively gave their last days to become CVac's safety guinea pigs and advance the development to a stage where patients that could respond to treatment could benefit. Any additional months they gained from CVac were pretty much miraculous. We also know that some phase 2a patients are still alive to this day. Remission past 5 years is medically considered to be cancer free. Again, not from a statistically significant pool, so can't officially attribute the survival to CVac, but really, what else could it have been?

Regardless, we know that CVac is very well tolerated and that quality of life is not affected in any adverse way apart from mild flu-like symptoms in some cases and inflammation at the injection site.

Chemo, on the other hand, is terrible terrible treatment for quality of life. The sooner we can supersede it the better.
