Yeah, It's all interesting and that. It also makes sense for Vale to grab a good toe hold in the Pilbara along with all the infrastructure FMG has built.
But it goes against everything Vale have been doing over the last few years.
They picked up Inco about 18 months back, now they are out activley looking for Uranium. Also their bids for Xstrata have to be considered
Vale is the most logical group to take over FMG but it just doesn't seem likely with Iron Ore prices looking to go down
