I've noticed this thing happen on CVI several times before; At around 14:30 to 15:00 on random days all of a sudden there is this frantic jossling of orders in the screen, followed by a frenzied buying spree and run-up, then a bit of a seller unload towards the close.

I have no idea if it's on today (I promise I'm not one of them), but you'd have to say, there'd be little resistance to it (looking at the screen now).

BTW - I don't think these guys are all that bad for CVI. They provide a type of market support and a level of trading activity far in excess of what a company this size might normally do.

Yes they may tend to hold a temporary lid on SP, but as I've said before, not even they can stop a higher price when the market really wants it.

Only 2.2M shares between here and 17c. Looks good.
