They can announce the results of drilling at any time...other than the way they are reported, JORC does not restrict anything here.
As for the wildcats, I am sure they would have reasonble "targets" from both ground expression and as you suggest, perhaps local reference...but the nature of wildcats can be somewhat hit and miss...hard to know which way mineralisation may run underground (ie geological control) until you have drilled a few holes.
Anyway...thet was not the gist of my comments.
I suspect (may be wrong?) that Catabola is being delayed as a bargaining chip for current negotiations...given the same people are involved.
Fortitude does not even officially have Catabola yet, as with Cameroon, we have agreed but not signed off!
Catabola was meant to start in October last year...then pre xmas...then Jan...and every time it has been more or less on similar timelines to expected news on Kwanza.
What's the bet official commencement of Catabola drilling is announced within a weak of the Kwanza announcements?
