cvio and general rant

I know everyone likes to call posts such as these a downramp, or a burned holder venting, or what ever else... but I am honestly just shocked that such things happen on our markets, being pretty new to them.

And I am sorry to those hurting. I am on your side, believe me. No rubbing it in here. Nothing I could say would make it better or worse either way.

Anyways, I have a small amount of CVIO's I was just going to hold regardless, but now I am wondering if I'd be better off just having an hour at the casino with what ever I can get for them.

    Are they almost worthless now?

    - A little over 12 months til expiry.
    - World markets in turmoil.
    - FPO's around 3c.
    - No oil.
    - No projects that look to be coming in line in the next 12 months (it has taken us over 12 months to get to 'here' (no where).

How are the FPO's going to go up by at least 400% between now and expiry, especially if the market remains bear for a good chunk of that time?

I'm sorry to say this but the options look dead from here.

    Hell, the company almost does.

I bet the main reason most of us got in was oil. What a mirage that turned out to be.

Now we are fed some BS about diamonds etc...

MS should be investigated IMO (or have to face t4p, angry and encore in a locked concrete cell for an hour).

Are these kinds of companies and CEO's rampant? I haven't experienced one as bad as this yet, though JRV is up there.

We can blame global conditions, but the fact is CVI have taken one of the biggest hits in such times, from a low base to begin with, owing 100% to 'what the company is'.

It is just a cop out to blame global conditions; I hope you read that MS. A cop out.

Conditions just haven't helped. If everything that was supposed to be wrapped up at Christmas time '07 had been, we'd of been coming off a base somewhere between 50c and $1, and as such there would still be value in the popular options, and people wouldn't have lost a stack of money.

Certainly appears to be disgraceful management. Where is Egan? Wasn’t his the name that gave this fantasy stock some sort of credibility? Does he even work there or did they lie about that?

MS you are a liar liar, pants on fire. At least when/if you get the a$$ (run away) from this gig, there will be a job for you down at Car City selling bombs to the ill informed.
