Sorry , Plunger, I guess you plunged in without much research. I lost a heap on FAR and am fully aware of the WPL, FAR fiasco. I was only comparing the final purchase of SNE and suggested it might pay STO to do the same with Dorado. The relationships between STO and CVN are totally different to what happened with FAR and WPL. CVN and STO are extremely well run companies and appear to get on very well. Wish I could say the same for FAR and WPL!!! Can't see CVN throwing away 20% of the best oil find in Australia in many years. Needless to say I 've put my residue from FAR into CVN as I've lost faith in the FAR crew. Anyhow, all the best, I think we're on a safer bet with CVN where I hope to recoup my losses on FAR. Incidentally I've held both FAR and CVN for more years than I care to remember!
