Nicely calculated H, but with the big "If" successful. If Samo comes in and is indeed part of the same field or an extension of SNE, the appraisal program will be kept too a minimum as the best part of the homework has already been obtained only several kilometers to the north. Would be a massive discovery if the same sands correlate to the 400 sands at SNE albeit a hell of a lot thicker. The net pay will be the game breaker here. Day's go by very quick and before we know it, the drill bit will be rotating at Samo.

Secondly. As we have witnessed, Big Oil, and major oil countries have all started to appear on the radar and are pouring in to be a part of this very prolific oil and gas arena. The Chinese, French, Russians, Italians, Saudis, etc and more that keep coming into this foray every month as this coastline comes closer to production. A far cry from the local talent around the Australian coastline. Congrats to CVN holders.

With the above information, the possibility of a more stable oil price, and this truly unique oil province that has only scratched the surface. There is no doubt big oil and powering countries are very desperate to get into what will be a continent left behind. Not for long as cheaper labor always comes to value from leading nations.

My guess H, minimal $4 US a barrel alone on a discovery at Samo. And the 400 sands could only be the tip of the iceberg that A2 & A5 could contain. This area is seriously unexplored, and as the Senegal leases will soon move forward to more exploration, any similarities in the Gambia will be of massive cost savings and much better chance of success than flying blind.

Gulf of Mexico here we come, and then some. It's quite difficult to perceive right now how much oil and gas this coastline could contain. Will be interesting when the APCL leases that were given away to strongly supporting nations start to spend their efforts on exploration drilling. I almost feel sorry for the uninhibited and undisturbed coastline off West Africa as the near future will bolster the economy, but ......
