Shorts up a significant 2m shares on 29/12/20. This may explain some of the softer SP although more recent daily shorts are not significant. Maybe shorters are trying shake the tree to keep a lid on prices while they try to sneak under the radar and close out positions. With low trading volumes over recent days it doesn't look like they are succeeding.
