After purchasing a new Ericcson phone last year I had nothing but persistent problems. In fact the phone never worked at all and would transfer calls to my message bank automatically and then started to turn off when the phone rang.
After umpteen trips to the repairer I threatened to sue them for "disruption of commerce" as ,according to the Trade Practices Act the product should be fit for the purpose it was designed for and it is of merchantable quality.
Certainly made them pay attention and am now the proud owner of the latest Sony Ericsson phone with colour display and a joystick. Never take no for an answer and be persistent in life.
