Personaly im completely against short sellng. The fact that naked short selling will become illegal is a step in the right direction, and imo all short selling should be stopped. IMO it is unethical, not only because the real owner may not be aware of the practise, and that its is usually being carried out against the owners best interest, But it also is usually carried out to target fear and thus selling by other holders who then loose money into this spiral,caused by targeted shorting.
Do i think that cvn has been a target..Without a shadow of a doubt. As EL pointed out the other day, cvn has always attracted "hot money" .so it has always been a target against those that have margin loans secured against it.
