This should be a concern for ASX company shareholders, who in turn should be putting the blowtorch to the feet of their pollies. A minimum trade of $500 for everybody (no more one rule for us, one for them) might alleviate some of the corruption, but the long-term fix is to sever the exchange linked trading practices. I will never buy the liquidity argument; this is simply institutionalised theft by traders who think they will get away with it because the regulator doesn't have the funds or the resources to pursue them.
