Santos is the operator and has a number of developments in the pipeline. They are divesting as Ya said to reduce their debt pile from buying in PNG. I understand from reading of different news items that June-July after the FID, they would like to drop their 80% in Dorado by 20-39%. Perhaps, someone with more information could explain how close the Scarborough pipeline to Karratha hub will pass by Dorado. Woodside has a development plan for production through Pluto 2 train at Karratha hub for this gas. They have stated they are interested in third parties to add to their supplies of gas. We have heaps of gas if they need any.
My reckoning is that we are probably around 200 kms from Karratha hub as the crow flies. Happy to have corrections, but the more options of gas with the oil around the mid twenties the better for our SP.
