 Exports don't just bring those companies profits.  Importantly, they bring revenues  from which the very taxes you refer to are paid. It is the same  for private domestic companies. It is private producers and manufacturers that keep the country going and exporting companies play a major role in Australia's balance of payments. With the exception of the profits that go overseas, all the rest is just a recirculating of the taxes taken from those producers and manufacturers including the spending of those profits that remain in Australia as and when they are spent  and further taxed (GST).
