    Welcome to hot copper.

    The market works in mysterious ways. Logic seldom seems to work.

    From a fundamental perspective CVV has IMO ridden a wave of investor speculation based largely on copper's rise this year combined with continual positive drill results from Bindi (and to a lesser extent Dasher S, and Opie). I say positive but that is subjective with the results being good, IMO, relative to past results. Compared to Kamoa/Kakula or Alpala and many others- pretty ordinary in terms of grade. Reasonable to good drill intersection lengths at Bindi (many near true thickness) and continuous to beyond open pit depths. Expectations of CVV's deposits haven't changed hugely with the drilling over the last couple of years - the real positive is the consistency that should make for a predictable deposit and mining if that eventuates.

    Extensions are possible with a fold structure at Bindi East and also at Dasher South.

    Mining logistics for PFS look like they should be relatively straightforward.

    Finding the Cash do it will be a major hurdle. Any announcement about that will be a biggie IMO.

    Technical analysis? Covid low of 1.5c to highs in the low 60c range gave this thread its title - CVV flying.

    What goes up must come down? Sooner or later.

    The timing on the MRE and PFS is probably getting pushed back. The market tends not to like delays.
    Copper price has been weaker.

    Assay results are mostly within expected ranges and IMO will have limited impact on SP. Unexpected highs or lows? Highs very little impact unless spectacular. Misses/gaps lows would probably be more negative.

    The slow turnaround of assays and subsequent snail pace of announcements is IMO impacting on investor's patience.

    ========

    You purchased a few weeks ago, which in hindsight may be during a down trend following a long uptrend that constantly amazed me. [It is easier to take the drop with free carried shares.]

    ======
    Completion of infill drilling - RC - should have happened by now.
    Diamond rig plodding along.
    MRE - well underway with final results getting plugged in when available. This is a delay - which will impact on the PFS.
    Structural model has been promised for awhile - possibly delayed.
    Director selling shares is probably for personal reasons but the market does note this more negatively than BOD buying on market. With an active drill program at Bindi there is no really good time for a director to sell shares. IMO the consistency of results mean that assay results from drilling are very unlikely to impact significantly on the SP. Hence selling was probably done within allowable guidelines. Not many other projects I would expect this to be a great action - reasonable with CVV.
    AC has some 25M shares so is down $600K on paper!

    Just Waffling along. and getting a bit repetitious after a long hard day.

    CVV may well be in the orphan phase now until development starts up.
