Thanks Saintex, and I thought that i read the other day that less new borns are on the way. You might have thought that locking couples up would lead to more- but... With less children their could be less household formation etc So less demand for new housing. I guess as singles/couples move away from singledom to having kids they move away from inner city and apartments to the outer burbs where the blocks are.
I am confident that WA real estate will have its day again- but we certainly do need people coming back into the state.
Financials had a leg up the other day- news of possible loosening of criteria. Realistically, banks would not want problem loans down the track. The news may have been overegged- in my humble opinion.
