AFR reporting, Chinese buyerBig line of Core Lithium shares crosses; fingers point to Chinese backers

Petra Capital crossed a line of 46.4 million shares in Core Lithium after market open on Wednesday morning, worth about 2.7 per cent of the company.
The trade was done at $1.05 a share, 14 per cent discount to Core Lithium’s last close. It was worth $48 million.
Petra had advertisements out a total 92.8 million shares in Core Lithium - or above the 5 per cent mark.
Fingers were pointing to Core Lithium’s substantial shareholders Gangfeng or Ya Hua as the most likely sellers, but fund managers were not told of the identity of the seller.
