These are just Analysts trying to predict the future, generally they are miles off, usually to the upside however in this case the opposite is looking more likely. They have copped a lot of flack in recent years so now tend to be ore conservative.
However they offer a good template to put your metrics in and come up with any dream like scenario we want , hindsight will eventually prove most of us wrong but someone will get lucky and get it right and claim guru status...
The main restraining factor for CXO compared to some others is resource size and mine life IMO which is being addressed and will continue to get addressed, , there is a lot of drilling ahead of us.
