Good morning $ man.
No they have nothing to do with fundamentals but, they do have a lot to do with price,
as a gap has 3 days to fill, otherwise it goes into time, and once there can fill within a week, or 6 months or sometimes years.. but i have found that gaps left behind in majority cases creates weakness in price, always better to fill if it can before it moves on.
i have been following a share that it has taken 3 years to fill a gap , but it has now..
but some never do as well, as may be, they are taken over, or go broke.
