Hi @euro3000 when price is outside the Bollinger band either at the top or the bottom as in this case..its showing that price has deviated way too far in a short period of time even after taking into account the adjusted volatility for that period of time.
"Bollinger Bands are envelopes plotted at a standard deviation level above and below a simple moving average of the price. Because the distance of the bands is based on standard deviation, they adjust to volatility swings in the underlying price."
