Hi @spiffin that's good to hear mate!....charting is a bit like learning another language or learning to play the guitar maybe!.stock prices (to my own surprise) actually move in many repetitive cycles..when we can identify a particular repetitive  cycle and are able to instantly locate that on a chart then all the sundry TA tools and accessories make a lot more sense in that environment because they will also be repetitive in that cycle. The main thing imo is to identify repetitive price action first, then apply moving averages Fibonacci etc to gauge momentum..knowing a particular price cycle helps to stand back from the short term noise as well.
