They are not closing but they are definitely hurting.
They opened quite a few positions at below 90c.
Now there is no availability to short (as it is 10% now), with regulatory scrutiny about being naked short.
No volume to cover even at current prices. Any covering risks causing a cascade effect of margin calls leading to a cycle of shorts closing.
Every 10c of SP is almost $20m of loss for them. I have no sympathy.
