Only if we all got up off the boat and sold out. From my experience being down a Motza (unfortunately this is not the first time). Likely we will see somewhat of a recovery in the SP.
Shorters would be very keen to have already closed out positions and to have another dig at current levels. More likely they will close positions, go long whilst running SP higher before another round of shorting. Hedge Funds regularly go both long on short on the same stock ！
