Absolutely. Pegmatite outcrops may be plentiful in the Core concession areas in the Bynoe region, but they are dispersed. This means careful preparation, including extensive data analysis, mapping and ground proofing. The bigger the landholding, the more ground to cover. Core have more than 8 discrete licences in the region, which might also mean more paperwork for drilling approvals. They've got established tenements in the NT, so they should be able to streamline this process, but it all takes time.

CXO's update of 6 July noted they'd found pegmatites (i.e. more than one) 'comparable in size to those at Pilgangoora' (i.e. 1000+m by 450m), and we'd already learned about Zola (1500+m, 'large by world standards') in their announcement on 23 June.

I'd rather they take their time now - finding the biggest and most prospective pegmatites in their concessions - and then hit something serious when the drill starts turning than burn our money digging holes in the ground. GLTAH R-7
