CXO seems unexpectedly quiet at the moment ahead of the release of their March 2019 Quarterly Report. Very little news coming to the surface despite a all the activity.
The DFS didn’t live up to everyone’s expectations, however, it did put on the table a very profitable base case operation. I suspect that this is part of their strategy of building credibility and value longer term.
“Under quote and over deliver” always is seen as a lot more palatable than “Over quoting and under delivering”. Now that a profitable base case is out there, I expect that the market will respond positively with each new profitable upgrade.
I am expecting the quarterly report to provide us with some of the missing detail we have been hoping for and provide us with more insight into what they have planned for the current quarter.
