Darwin chosen over Newcastle, Geelong and Gladstone

He says Darwin was chosen over other port cities, such as Newcastle, Geelong and Gladstone, because of the availability of raw materials, the proximity to Asian markets, the local engineering expertise and the support of the government.

Just speculating here but we shouldn't be surprised if within the next 6-24 months we see an MOU or binding agreement with Renaissanceone.. the battery tech is specialised for hot climates. Don't see any other northern territory Lithium mines coming online within the same projected timeframes? Maybe just dreaming but it all aligns quite well. Watch this space.
