That's certainly a lot of empty buzz words you've managed to cram into one sentence. Most likely without reading the article or watching the video as nowhere does either mention anything about opposition to the mine.
I'd also strongly suggest the 'woke' you're referring to are actually pushing the hardest for the adoption of EV's, renewables (which will in part use more Lithium for energy storage) and the ultimate move towards decarbonisation.
The ABC are just reporting what a number of analysts are predicting. Suggest some need to take their blinkers off as not every analyst (IE: GS) is going to predict rocketing Spod prices forever.
