No it's not "fake news" as you put it. It's simply crap reporting. They started off with a flawed assumption supplied by Credit Suisse (into the bin with that one alongside the Goldman Sachs report) and ended up with complete rubbish conclusion. $1200/t spod in a few years - not going to happen. To paraphrase the MD for Renascor - the industry will need 90 graphite mines the size of theirs over the coming years - the same is true of the world's need for lithium in my opinion.
