IMEC are already partnered with Global Foundaries to produce their own Edge AI AiMC chip.

However it is leveraging SRAM which has massive issues in terms of size (it’s difficult to scale down) and expense (it costs a lot).
Scaling to 20nm with IMEC suggests they may have a specific use case fro 4DS. In which case the lead time might not be that great. I’m hoping anyway
