Suspect you and Uncle Joe are right
Metrics on Retention have always been kept in the dark for many years
Put simply 4DS does not have NVM if retention as we expect is minimal, even if it so-called tunable
NVM's currently being developed and in the Reram space have retentions of 10 years plus
So where the hell does 4DS memory sit, in spite of excellent metrics for speed and endurance
4DS is still in the development stage and whilst hopeful that IMEC can take us further down the track to having a viable memory product to sell, the tech market always moves slowly
Would love to be more motivated, but not throwing the house it at this stage
