All the company can do is have IMEC fabricate megabit chips/arrays to their specification; and then subsequently run test routines on them to determine the performance metrics.

The metrics determine what the technology could replace, not what 4DS management determine it should be. When I first got interested in the company, it was "Storage Class Memory," then it was "NVM close to DRAM" now the metrics are better than what I think even the team thought they would be.

Whoever purchases the tech to commercialise it into saleable products will decide whether they go for a DRAM replacement or not, but they will be guided by the metrics/data, what their customers want, where they can get the best return on investment - What 4DS management thinks won't really matter any more than what any of us thinks will matter.

The metrics that have been published certainly suggest that 4DS RERAM could become an alternative/replacement to DRAM, but we also know it could be tuned to achieve different performance figures.

How can you suggest the company is not being truthful? All they can disclose is what sits in their wheelhouse. They aren't the ones who are going to deploy RERAM at scale.
