What is happening, why such weakness?

Yes, CXU looks in some trouble. From a weekly perspective, a drop from 2 to 1.7, with a touch of 1.6. Yesterday volume on sell was decent, looks like tapering now.

So what is happening? Most U stocks have been getting away from their bottoms. CXU wants to stick there. Why? Not sure. Maybe @DeepThinker could have a view. Lets see if he has something to say.

I have a view. I feel it could either be trading weak as big buyers are not there. Or there could be a CR coming up. The day it got sold to 1.6, only thing I was looking is at 5B cash position. To me its 50/50 at this stage, it can happen. Some in the know, selling out, pushing down, so lower CR price can happen. We don't need to raise now, we can wait till September, when I am expecting SP to be much higher, but sometimes I know how these things play, so have not made an opinion.

Personally bought a few this week at 1.7. Honestly was not convinced, was thinking about CR. But my feeling of general U stocks direction made me buy that. My average as I wrote last week was 1.9, this week its 1.85, not much difference.

So what could happen next week? Depends on why CXU is playing slightly weak. I am expecting U stocks to be more stable next week from its low. For CXU, we need another big pocket. Is someone around? Lets hope so. Enjoy your weekend and all the best.
