Some Prime Ministers don't do it to their wives..
they do it to the country.

Rudd's lack of courage on climate change..the issue that
contributed so much to his election and consequently his
international "glow" after signing the Kyoto Protocol,gave
hope and raised expectations of a cleaner world.What
happened?

The Australian summed it up last week..there are only
"two" explanations for what Rudd has done:He is a weak
leader who should find another profession [perhaps go
back to Bureaucracy] because he wont do what he believes
is right,if it carries risk.Or worse still,he is a fraud
who used inflated rhetoric to whip up hysteria about
climate change,but is running away from having done so,
because the political winds have changed.
Neither possibility is particularly edifying for a National
Leader.

Rudd needs to encourage a "green idea" that stimulates
clever thinking..UCG. An ABN-AMRO MORGANS adviser
stated recently..the company that gets it right [UCG]
will be a Major success story for coal and a triumph
for Australia.

Mid/late June should see Cougar moving forward and
stimulating international/local interest.
