Cougar Energy has been buying water for the farmers within the 2km exclusion zone since the meeting with Minister Robertson, DERM boss John Bradley, MP Dorothy Pratt and Regional Council Mayor David Carter & "angry farmers", over 2 weeks ago.

There was a further meeting the following morning with DERM, Cougar, the Regional Council & farmers & that was the outcome.

Their bores have been tested regularly & the tests are clear, despite this, Cougar continues to provide water for them which is beyond comprehension.

Slowly, the company is being crucified.
