Had a look at that company's earn-in. When your best result from 4 sub-projects is 232 ppm Rubidium from an "LCT" pegmatite, you look for other options. Which they did, and found python with greenstone-hosted pegmatite at 330 ppm Li. Try again. Now they have Viper and Cobra which are in a small but under-explored greenstone lithology. Maybe their last hope? Time will tell. Either way, clearly there is not much prospective land left to snap up in James Bay. The explorers that were here first (CY5 and others) have much better odds.

Greenstone is not the be all and end all. You can have economic LCT pegmatites intrude into various metasediment lithologies, not just "greenstone" mafic/ultramafic metavolcanics. But it is important to pay attention to the regional geology. If all the other economic pegmatites are hosted in greenstones, that is probably where you should be looking.

Haven't read into any Cygnus-owned projects other than Pontax, but if Sakami has some decently sized outcrops hosted in the same greenstones associated with high Li mineralisation like Cancet, I don't think that's a bad start. Good luck all
