CY5 General Discussion, page-420

Caught up with Dave at the Twilight RRS this afternoon. The man is so enthusiastic and looking forward to the restart of exploration. No update to timing of JORC but in his preso he emphasised that only around 700m of the 40km Pontax trend had been drilled, so plenty of upside to come.
All going well there will be a helicopter landing CY5 geos at Auclair next week to sample outcropping pegs. Dave said the fires and an errant black bear curtailed sampling of outcrop last trip and the crew only discovered the spod laced boulders as an incidental find during their walk back to the helicopter. A very happy accident! Eyes on the 2.6km+ of outcrop should be interesting next week.
