    You seem determined to miss my point.

    For sure, Gareth Reynolds is steeped in hard rock lithium exploration and mining, but why have 5 board members with none of that relevant experience and why have another executive as Head Geologist. Why not drop a couple of the directors without pertinent experience and have GR or someone else with hard rock lithium experience on the board as head geologist.

    Also you seem to be suggesting that David Southam's gig as non-executive director of Ramelius is some sort of semi-honourary role like secretary of the local junior footy club. In FY22 DS's remuneration from Ramelius was $153,500. Now for that sort of dosh DS totally gets to own responsibility for how the Ramelius board performs and how the company performs. And the reality is that in the last couple of years Ramelius has been all over the place in terms of strategic direction and delivery. DS is the second longest serving director at Ramelius and he continues to bank the fees Ramelius pays non-executive directors. If he concludes he is not able to steer the company in the direction he considers appropriate then he should resign and give up the 150 grand a year cash stream.

    And nothing wrong with accountants in senior executive roles: the business world could do with lots more of them. But DS is coming onto a board of a newbie hard rock lithium explorer with a board with no hard rock lithium exploration or mining experience and he himself does not have a technical mining grounding nor any practical experience in the hard rock lithium sector. Anyway, I'll leave it at that.
