    Yes Pinto
vehicle choice is absolutely specific to the individual.

Id love to be able to do a standing quarter in 4 or 5 secs in my sporty electric ferrari? look alike but it too has to take a couple of bikes occasionally and also cart a tonne of 40mm clean bluemetal which I have been loading and unloading today ... certainly wouldnt want the cyber truck getting dented and having to do three trips for each one I did today.
When I travel I am perfectly happy in my diesel Volvo and for my hobby and investment interests the Colorado flat tray does the job.
Both very well maintained 8 yrs and 11 yrs old respectively with low kms and low emissions.
Their useful lives - a long time yet.
I will not be verballed in to some climate killer reputation because of ICE use by anyone as I can rationalise my use and understand well the economics of electric vehicle production.

Getting an ecar ATM makes no sense environmentally, utilitarian wise nor economics..for me-
its horses ( intended humour) for courses.
Government meddling and Subsidising others fleeting or fashionable interests in e vehicles pisses me off a fair bit,
and acquaintances that have them are sadly totally unaware of the environmental costs incurred but so far are tolerating the inconvenience factors.
It is a laugh that two of them have an environmental footprint at least double mine due to the amount of interstate flights they make.

I'll change when good and ready .... if it makes sense.
