The thinking process always has alot to do with our success. You will be a great day trader, you might just need to tweek a few things.
Personally i would say dont give up on what your doing now to go to index trading cause you will probably take the same trading there.
The best way to get all the historical data is to buy a decent software program and then you have the data for keeps. I dont rely on internet free sites for data, pay for it you value it more.
