You raise a good point about bike rego and bike toll ways . Rather than continually arguing about bad cyclists and bad drivers , I wonder if there is a solution ?
If there were purpose built roads for bikes ( which would need to be funded by more than bike rego ) would the motorists be happy with the expenditure ? It might mean higher taxes to achieve this .
I reckon if there were more bike friendly roads you might find a lot more people riding . I'm an occasional rider but there's heaps of roads that I won't ride on , mainly because of the speed difference .
Be interesting to see what possible solutions people might have .
