    The law says the cyclist must provide the injured pedestrian with their details.
    Ive never seen a cyclist or pedestrian carrying a pencil and paper to take note.
    The cyclist does not have rego and insurance, the cyclist can just peddle off into the Horizon without giving details or give false details.
    Any way a pedestrian would be trying to get blood out of a stone with it going to court and trying to get get compensation from a cyclist which would only have to pay a small amount out of garnished income, zilch if they are unemployed.
