    60mm of rain when annual rates of evaporation are upwards of 3000mm is irrelevant.
    APC is 100% bore field but for trenching operations rainfall and run off is essential for 'recharge'.
    For some operations the annual abstraction from trenches is a fraction of the recharge from rain and run off.
    Ponds are built or should be built with bunds that allow for 1/100 year or more rain events so they should not flood
    The biggest issue and probably not relevant to APC is road access but again that is only going to be a temporary and seasonal problem.
