VERY DESTRUCTIVE winds with gusts to 230 kilometres per hour are expected to develop in areas east of Pardoo to Sandfire Roadhouse, including Wallal from early Monday afternoon. There is also the risk of a DANGEROUS STORM TIDE in coastal areas as the cyclone centre crosses the coast. Tides are likely to rise significantly above the normal high tide mark with DAMAGING WAVES and DANGEROUS FLOODING.
GALES are likely to be occurring along the coast between Bidyadanga and Pardoo and may extend to Broome, Port Hedland and adjacent inland parts later in the day.
Heavy rainfall is expected in coastal parts of the western Kimberley and eastern Pilbara during Monday, extending to the inland eastern Pilbara on Tuesday.
