Really Petersburggray, before writing these things, please go back and read the incentive package JdeC is on.
He did receive shares for the first Capital Raise, can argue if that was a good thing or not, but it may have incentivised him to get the Superior/Vango deal done and got him skin in the game and most importantly there are no more shares being offered for further Capital Raises.
And all incentive bonuses since then have been based on increased ounces produced.
He then bought another $1m worth of shares which is more than the salary he earned since he joined CYL.
I think he is about as incentivised as he needs to be to get this thing going. And from what I'm seeing in the numbers, that is exactly what he and the BOD are doing.
