Hi Sparkswa, trial has been approved in NSW and Tas, necessary training, additional staff recruited to manage trials at those locations and whatever else was necessary has already happened.

Would have liked to see your friends participate (and may provide you earlier news on whether trial going well!), it's perhaps still possible if they made 7 trips to Sydney mostly in the first year, perhaps some of them are already doing some travel between Sydney and Perth.

I'm confident they'll recruit 440 without too much difficulty. The clinic Hunter is using in Sydney has from memory around 20+ OA specialists and multiple locations. So you'd think that clinic alone would have 1000s of existing patients just in Sydney, that's without the additional candidates they'd be getting from media such as Channel 9 and their connections at the OA social and professional bodies/groups.
