The challenge, IMO for CYP, is going to be finding the US$1B to get their product to market and FDA approved, lots of dilution to be sure.
Further, the potential issue around malignant transformation during propagation…you can’t propagate cells forever. The FDA will need “next level” satisfaction that the process is not producing malignant cells when mass manufacturing and that may add another increased time factor and cost…long road ahead with significant dilution IMO.
