I see you (understandably, given their vitriol) couldn't fight the urge to reply to the one of the other baiters on MSB. Plodge, Gavin and Col are all ignored/despised on MSB threads by more considered MSB posters. The sheep like them, because they say popular/positive things about MSB that appeal to simple minds who enjoy a bit of pump or blaming those damned shorters alone when the share price recedes, ignoring the 85-99% of daily volumes attributable to long participants, many recently selling out because greedy Silviu tripled the cost of Ryconcil vs broker expectations.

The FDA MSB exclusivity grant was of course not that unusual for an orphan designated approval. Rather the point of the scheme for rare diseases that might not otherwise see investment - those particular MSB posters wouldn't have even known before it was announced. Never a guaranteed outcome and definitely a result for MSB, but as you rightly point out; exclusivity in one very specific aspect. Exclusivity in Steroid Refractory Paediatric Acute GvHD.

Plenty of scope for CYP beyond and of course Knee OA, Kidney and DFU's (and now Heart in vitro) the real money spinners for CYP. GvHD more of a necessary proving ground that CYP management will have felt compelled to pursue as a proving ground. The attraction to partnership candidates that CYP shows it can do what MSB does, at scale, slightly better, in uniform quality, and most important commercially - CHEAPER.

I always find it funny that for a company they say is so insignificant to MSB or stem cell innovation, that, be it on MSB or CYP threads, the reprobates feel so compelled to go on about CYP so much.
