I don't think we can bung this on socialism at all.

More like greed, rampant so called capitalism, far too much freedom and a lack of good legislation more likely.

Lets face facts - it is bods like Wall Street types that have got us into this mess - not socialists - although I agree they have some philosophies that are on the nose as well.

Without things like fractional banking, debasement of currency and wild risk taking ventures without solid investment criteria --------- this sort of thing wouldn't have happened this time at least - and all of that is NOT the playground of socialists - they stuff up things quite differently.

THIS is the work of very wealthy individuals using power and systems to raid the rest of the world.

All it proves to me is that capitalism as we know it is a fizzer - as are most systems.

It looks to me like no system is perfect - why else are we still having disasters?

What we have atm ------------ 'again' is a bunch of selfish power-mongers in place who will probably be removed by nothing more than yet 'another' revolution.

I see the problems as being exactly the same as throughout history (surprise surprise) - but I see no solution, bar looking after yourself -------- which is exactly what got us into this mess - people looking after themselves with no concern for others - stretching things far beyond the law and making laws to suit themselves.

Only bullets and people on streets will change this ----- and we start all over again.

Bugger.
