I had a bit of a "a ha" moment the other day when I heard these comments from Dr Triebel (from the webinar) explaining why efti has shown responses in both hot and cold tumours, whereas a conventional blocking antibody (e.g. relatlimab) is less likely to be effective in cold tumours.
As in - you can't block LAG-3 on a T cell in a cold tumour - because the T cells are not present:
