Not the best of folks to comment but it has been a steep learning curve for me over the last few months as well.

The brokers have a little fun fest where the match up buys and sells after the market closes (between 4.00 and 4.12 mostly though I have seen some trades go through later).

Post Close ..Go to the ASX site and the details are there. I believe something similar happens at the start of the day as well and may be proposed for another time during the day.

We mere mortals don't get a look in and the final price of the day can be set by one (that's right 1) solitary share trading above or below the previous trade! Usually seems to be down and this apparently creates a trend in the way the brokers? want.

Below is CZN's final trades for today. It is why the SP closed at 1.1c rather than 1.2c today!

Don't take any notice of the last trade at 1.2c on this market depth - my portfolio, your's, and the newspaper will say closed at 1.1c.
