Thanks for the heads up will probably do as you suggest rather than wait for snail mail. I think the SP is a good deal and suspect many others will as well so scale back is almost inevitable - close to a no brainer. The announcement did say close off at company discretion and a few other conditions for the offer.
I suspect CZN's legal folks have noted a recent scale back decision that caused a re-run of a shortfall issue and made their approach compatible with the ruling 'against' RER by the TOV (take over panel?).
